Our Foundation

Our founder began her career in residential multifamily management, where she quickly developed a deep understanding of property operations, resident care, and the rhythms of community life. That foundation opened doors to general construction and contract management, expanding her expertise in oversight, compliance, and vendor coordination.


Before long, she was balancing a real estate portfolio while practicing as a licensed realtor—navigating closings, contracts, and client relationships with precision, transparency, and heart. Each transaction revealed more than just numbers and paperwork; it exposed the emotional weight and operational complexity behind property ownership.


The transition into HOA management was natural. Portfolio work became a place where she truly shined—finding deeper meaning in the systems, relationships, and responsibilities that shape community governance. But the deeper she went, the clearer the gaps became.​​

Our Ascent

Our Founder witnessed firsthand, the cracks in leadership and processes:

  • Systems that confused more than clarified

  • Boards left unsupported and under-informed

  • Communities paying for service they didn’t understand—and didn’t benefit from 

  • Management firms offering oversight without empowerment

 

Driven by a desire to serve at scale, she relocated from Washington, D.C. to Texas, stepping into larger communities and investor portfolios. What she found was unacceptable: clients unaware they were paying for mediocrity, board members unsure of their roles, and leadership that lacked accountability.

She didn’t come to Texas to tolerate the cycle. She came to break it.

After years of immersion, observation, and strategic planning, she saw the need for something better. Property management that is strategic, emotionally intelligent, and executed with precision. Service backed by collaborative leadership and systems that protect legacy. Our Founder set out to build a model that affirms boards, empowers communities, and supports infrastructure that lasts.

Thus, MariBet Saunders & Co. was born.

Today, our Strategic Architect now leads MariBet Saunders & Co. with over 25 years of industry experience—designing onboarding flows, custom management agreements, and operational systems that reflect the values of the communities we serve.


Her work is rooted in clarity, care, and continuity. Her leadership is marked by precision, empathy, and a refusal to settle. Because MariBet Saunders & Co. isn’t just property management—it’s management reimagined.
